ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & CONDUCTOR
With a sensitive approach to music, Véronique brings an emotional intensity to her conducting that she passionately conveys to both musicians and the audience. She is recognized as a dynamic, unifying, creative, and versatile leader.
With the support of the Canada Council for the Arts (CCA), the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), as well as the Canimex Group, Véronique was the founder and artistic director of the Ambassador Project of the Longueuil symphony Orchestra (OSDL), project of several concerts with multimedia, in collaboration with the Development of public music in Quebec (DPMQ). She was also the conductor and artistic director of the I Medici di McGill Orchestra, offering benefit concerts in support of various humanitarian causes.
As a guest conductor for several orchestras, festivals, and music schools, Véronique has notably conducted the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, the Quebec Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchester Classique de Montréal, the Sherbrooke Symphony Orchestra, Bradyworks Productions, at the Classica Festival with collaborations Cirque Éloize and the Montreal Cancer Institute, at the Festival of Jazz, to the Contemporary Music Society of Quebec, etc. Internationally she has directed in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and the United States.
Véronique holds a Doctorate in Orchestra Conducting (D. Mus) from the University of Montreal, a Master's degree in Choral Conducting (M. Mus) from the Université de Sherbrooke, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education.
